FAQ
-
What level of fitness is required?
The tours can be tailored to whatever level of fitness you have, including wheelchair users. The Culloden battlefield tour is approximately a 4km/3mile walk along good, reasonably level paths and takes approximately 2 hours.
-
What should I wear?
Scottish weather is fickle and can change throughout the day. I recommend layers for keeping warm and dry as needed. Please come prepared with a rain jacket or umbrella as tours go ahead rain or shine. Some paths can get a bit muddy, so please wear comfortable shoes.
-
Is lunch included in the tour price?
Lunch is not included, but I know the best places to go whether it’s just a sandwich or a full three course lunch. Just let me know what you would like to do.
-
Where is the pick-up/drop-off point?
I can pick you up anywhere within a 30 mile (45 km) radius of Inverness and return you to the same point.
-
Do you pick up from Invergordon Cruise Terminal?
Yes, absolutely. Tours are planned to pick you up from the quayside at Invergordon and return you in good time before sailway.
-
Can you incorporate additional stops?
Our tours are designed to be as flexible as possible and we can usually accommodate additional stops so long as you let us know in advance.
