Terms of service.

Whereas every effort will be made to complete our scheduled itineraries, the company reserves the right to make changes to the tour under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of our guides, for example, road closures or adverse weather conditions etc.

  • We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 6 due to child seat requirements.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for those who have mobility issues and have not advised us of their requirements prior to the date of tour commencement.

  • All entrance fees, tour admissions, whisky tasting fees, meals and refreshments are NOT included in the price of our tours.

  • Any special requests should be advised to us at the time of booking. Whilst we will try to accommodate any reasonable requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled and failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part. We regret that we cannot accept bookings which are conditional on any one special request being met.

  • We are happy for you to enjoy bottled water, but not other food and drink as this may damage the vehicle interior and seat upholstery. If interiors and/or upholstery is marked beyond our ability to clean it, then a fair charge will be made for professional valeting.

  • We strongly recommend that passengers arrange suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance.

  • Data protection – In order to process your booking and ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly, we will need to use the personal information which you provide to us (such as your name, address, contact details, any special requirements etc). We will not pass your information on to anyone who is not involved in providing (or arranging the provision of) any product or service related to your booking.

  • Force Majeure – we will not have any liability to you if we are prevented from fulfilling our contractual obligations to you because of any event which is outwith our control. Such events may include (but are not limited to) war; terrorist activity or the threat of terrorist activity; civil commotion or riot; any action taken by a governmental or public authority; industrial disputes; collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; traffic or road conditions or road closures; technical or mechanical breakdown; adverse weather conditions; natural disasters and all similar events or circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

  • At the time of booking you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 25%

  • You are required to pay the balance 21 days before the scheduled tour date.

  • If in the event that you need to cancel your tour less than 14 days and more than 7 days prior to departure you will get a 50% refund.

  • If you cancel 7 days or less before departure then sadly there will be no refund. In these circumstances you may be able to claim on your holiday insurance.

  • You can change your booking to a different day if our schedule allows it and if we have availability on that particular day. If there is no availability again sadly you will not receive a full refund, however we will always try our utmost to accommodate you as best we can to suit both parties.

  • A full refund less 5% admin and bank costs will be given in the instance where a Tour has been confirmed from the Port of Invergordon, and the relevant ship is unable to dock.

  • If for any reason we at RashAdventurerTours have to cancel your tour we will offer you an alternative tour or tour date, if neither can be arranged or agreed we will offer you a full 100% refund and that is the extent of our obligation.
